Smart Ball makes for a Wise Stroke

The “smart” golf ball was recently introduced at a Berlin Consumer Electronic convention. The ball, which was produced by Germany’s Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Micro-integration, revels it’s initial velocity via an e-Grain grip located at the ball’s core. The ball speed is then relayed to an LCD readout on the golfers bag, detailing information on the first five meters of flight. The ball is apart of the rising e-Grain trend which aspires to embed a network of tiny processors in everyday items. More info after the jump:
